MARILYN LEVY, the TALLITmaaven, accomplished Judaic fibre artist, uses texture through embroidery, colour, beading and spectacular fabrics to express the beauty of Jewish Life Cycle events as well as Holy Days and "Shabbat".  "Hiddur Mitzvah", embellishing the mitzvah, can make even the most frequently practiced "mitzvot" feel special every time they are performed.  Custom Judaica to mark celebrations are a unique way to both heighten the meaning of events and also serve as reminders after they have passed.  Custom "kippot/ yarmulkes", "tallitot", "chuppot", "torah mantles, "challah covers", personalized tablecloths for weddings, showers, new homes, "Shabbat" or holy days are all practical and striking ways to ensure that these events are personal and meaningful.

Marilyn, the TALLITmaaven has created "challah covers" that match "Shabbat" china patterns of a bride and groom, as well as tallitot for "B’nai Mitzvot" or "Chuppot" for bridal couples based on such things as colour, fabric and style preferences.  This  enables them to have a tallit that is exactly to their taste or a "chuppah" that can be utilized as a wall hanging, quilt or tallit after the ceremony.

Currently, a very popular gift that delights bridal couples, Bnai Mitzvot, anniversary celebrants and others, are CHALLAH COVERS in the style and colours of the SIMCHAH invitation.  Gaining popularity is the creation of items that are embellished with a family tree embroidered to your favourite tree style and colour scheme.
