MORE TALLITOT
Barry had a dream.  When he was eleven years old, he came to Marilyn with his vision of his Bar Mitzvah Tallit.  It had to be blue....and big.  He wants it to be his Chuppah some day.

Barry and his family live near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Marilyn provided Barry's Tzitziyot and Barry studied and tied them himself under the supervision of friends prior to his Bar Mitzvah.  Barry has had this beautiful tallit for several years.  It is used weekly and travels with him every summer to Camp Ramah for daily use.

RENOVATED FROM GRANDMOTHER'S THIRTIES' WEDDING GOWN;
The tallit on the left was created, just in time for High Holidays, 5773, from Grandmother's wedding gown.
The dress had several bias sections, and two of them were used for the ends of the tallit.
A circle of the lace was cut for the headcovering and edged with the silk organza from the original neckline of the gown.
The Tallit bag was also cut from one of the bias sections.
The original lace and silk organza, which is extremely delicate, was backed with new silk dupioni in an apricot colour that compliments the ecru colour of the original lace and silk organza.  A new life for a treasured heirloom.  Contact us to discuss creating something new from your heirloom.
This Tallit, formally wedding gown, is being worn in a DC suburb by Gramma Rae's granddaughter.

RIGHT;   Birdies on a wire Tallit.  She has a choice of two kippot and a Tallit bag for a Guelph Ontario Bat Mitzvah Girl.

The words on her Tallit Atarah were chosen by Rachel, "
The body of the tallit is a silver/grey woven (medium weave) that moves as the wearer's body moves.  The embroidery is a blue grey selected by Rachel.
The card to the RIGHT, was created for her parents to present to her on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah.
